so the signup is free and basically it's 5-player multiplayer Tetris.  it runs pretty well and i've been having a decent time!  yet to actually win any matches.

anyway, i think you should all sign up so we can play.

actually, there's apparently like 8 game modes aside from the 5-player one!  it also includes Tetris 1989 (Gameboy Brick version!)

unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a good way to actually invite friends to games.  the best you can apparently do is click on a friend's name and try to join whatever room they're in.  kind of stupid.  and you can't create "private games" until you have 3k tokens.  maybe that's where you could invite? 

kind of a shame that such a good site is bogged down by something so simplistic.  but then again, XBL is the only service that seems to have it right.

dave, have you tried this online game yet?

it feels somewhat similar to TGM.

i mean, it's not TGM, but it has hold and you can play with the tetriminos a bit to move them around etc. etc.
