LET'S MOVIE

[dmauro]

You mean another awesome movie?! Yeah I hope so!

[FortNinety]

It has Garry Shandling, so yeah, it's pretty much guaranteed to be awesome!

[dmauro]

lol wut

[FortNinety]

I am sorry if you are too young to understand David, but soon you will.

Plus, I just nabbed the best of the Larry Sanders show on DVD, which is really good stuff! I'll pass some of it along if you'd like.

Paul Thomas Anderson is to direct Philip Seymour Hoffman who will be (essentially) portraying L. Ron Hubbard.

Ascots or I'm not going to see it...

[FortNinety]

I'm a sucker for Cops, as is Katie, so you can bet that we want in as well.

Wild hunch: this is mostly aimed at citizens of Los Angeles, no?

Moving on, here's a new image from Tron Legacy for those who missed it...

... As much I love cute girls with short hair, I also wasn't feeling it with the new Daft Punk theme from the movie, sorry.

At least they don't look cgi (not that I was all that bothered with the fake folks in the teaser). But if they are... holy shit.

Wild hunch: this is mostly aimed at citizens of Los Angeles, no?

no, they're nationwide. ira glasser did the hosting for their last video, and they're basically a weird hybrid project of people involved with the drug policy alliance, leap, aclu and the cato institute.

[dmauro]

$15 seems a little steep, but small projects always cost a little more. I might get that, watch it, and pass it on.

[The Drunken Samurai]

hey matt, have you ever seen or heard of The Foul King? http://pickleloaf.blogspot.com/2009/12/foul-king.html

[FortNinety]

Yup, at the New York Asian Film Fest many moons ago. Haven't read the whole review, but it's a 6.75 out of 10 alright. I remember wanting to like it much more than I actually did, but not horribly by any means either.

[FortNinety]

Stuff like this is easy enough to avoid like the plague, and it doesn't mark the end of all films, forever, but still annoys the shit out of me...
