That's pretty gross. It's a pretty strange promotion too, especially for Japan.

So I was on Houston and decided I would go to Katz's Deli to finally try out their Reuben. I never did because of the price, but I thought today I would go for it just this once because I thought it was only maybe ten or twelve dollars. Turns out it's just over $17 after tax.
The good: it's big, the corned beef is good (but maybe a little bit too well brined for me), it comes with pickles (which aren't very good though, I got 3 dill and 3 butter pickles).
The bad: they put sweet relish in it (I wasn't aware until I was already eating it, not awful, just not my cup of tea), they didn't use mustard instead of dressing as I asked, needs more sauerkraut, it seems that you pay more for the Katz name than for the Katz quality.

Never gotten sweet relish on my, thank goodness.
But yeah, their Reuben is more or less the only thing worth bothering with from my experience. I'm sure their other cold cut sandwiches are decent, but I've always had a hard time paying any amount of money for a turkey sandwich when I can make those at home at the fraction of the price.
The hot dogs are okay, but not for the asking price, and the french fries are nice and cold and wet and overpriced as well.

Damn, time to go to Singapore...

... Though I wonder how much shellfish stock is used. I'd imagine a lot. And if so, nevermind.

The burger patty was reminiscent of a sausage patty more than a hamburger. We intentionally cut the thing into quarters to make it a manageable experience. As i aid afterwards I'm glad I did it, and that I don't have to do it again.

the donut burger, while gross, is recognizable in form. it's merely a rather absurd and glutenous substitution.
the chicken patty thing looks like someone sneezed cheese on it, and is far less recognizable as a substitution.
obviously i wouldn't actually eat either item, but if i had to pick, i'd go with donut burger over fried chicken wtf.
