Well that was pretty depressing.
Once again, there's nothing sadder than a once funny guy whose now old and bitter and just doesn't get the world they live in. Guess that's what happen with most folks why they get that age, I suppose. It's somewhat similar to when Cosby rallied against the Simpsons back in the early 90s, though that might have been due to his sagging ratings than more than anything else.
Also, Penn is wrong about one thing: many of the people who passionately hate Beck do watch the guy. The main problem is how they watch him too much. But he's also correct: with many folks, it always goes back to Hitler!
