Hey Matt n co, a couple friends are thinking of getting a table, any tips on the application process?

First off, was gonna say that I'm surprised that there's any tables left, but then again, not really, with the prices they are charging.

Plus I'm still pretty pissed that it's in April, obviously to avoid the problem from last year's (since they're clearly too fucking cheap to spring for the AC).

I guess, point being, I have nothing really to say, other than "get ready for bullshit". Expect them to lose your check, and forget about hearing where you're situated until the day of the show. The current folks running MoCCA seem to be dumbasses for a lack of a better term, so my best advice is to check in on them regularly, mostly to make sure that payment got processed and that you're in their records.

Also, out of curiosity, how many people are you doing a table with? Four is the absolute maximum, otherwise it gets too crowded for yourselves and your neighbors. Unfortunately, myself/Katie/Hilary put down $400 and that was with the early registration discount.

Yeah, well, Ann (what's her handle again, saiconic?) was our fourth person, but she had to bow out due to a scheduling conflict I believe (once again, having the show in April makes no fucking sense and has screwed everyone up, myself included).

So yes, the fourth seat is open, but in her place, I'm going to sell some Attract Mode stuff and basically become it's east coast rep.

BTW, on a side topic, good seeing you around these parts! Seems like forever since we chatted. And please stop by the animu thread cuz I really have no one else to talk to about such stuff

Ahahha so I couldn't squeeze in there? The people who's table I was going to be a part of all collectively went "EHHHH I DUNNOOOOOOOOOOO" so back at square one for me.

Well, let me think about it, plus talk to Hilary and Katie. But truth be told, having your stuff (what exactly will you be selling btw? books or prints?), Hilary's, Katie's, my stuff, AND assorted Attract Mode goods, might be too much for the already retardedly small tables they give out (which is another source of aggravation to be sure).

Honestly, if I hadn't just spoken to Adam (the dude who runs Attract Mode) about this arrangement, I'd say the seat was yours for the taking...

Ah the thing is I wouldn't have very much! As far as stuff I'd NEED to bring I only have one mini planned, then an exclusive print for fixit and probably stickers and small flyers. Let me know.

Well, that works out, logistically, but then again, and I don't want to psyche you out or anything, will it be worth to pay $100 to sell a print and a mini? But alas, that's something that everyone has to face when they enter such a thing.
