[FortNinety]

Okay, now that this place is actually up and running, maybe it's we should actually talk about the subject at hand?

http://www.fort90.com/journal/?p=696

[dmauro]

Fuck yeah, this game is going to own. I kind of wish it were $20 cheaper, but you know me and everyone else will buy it at the going rate and then they can drop it for everyone else 6 months down the road if they need to so whatever, I'm looking forward to it.

In case anyone wasn't aware (I wasn't), the Halo 3 multiplayer that ships with ODST (it's actually a separate disc) and has all the Halo 3 DLC maps also has three NEW maps that are only available by owning ODST. They are:

Heretic

Citadel

Longshore

I was always a fan of Heretic, so I'm looking forward to that one.

[pilot]

I'm excited but will miss playing as Master Chief

[glomag]

yeah, I pre-orderededed. I haven't checked to see how many of the improvements they made in H3 will be available in ODST, but I am assuming all. I need to be able to play co-op campaign mode for example. I NEED it.

Heretic is the remake of Midship I guess. Cool!

[dmauro]

Co-op campaign is in. That's how I played it actually. Though you're not gonna care too much about co-op campaign after playing firefight. Glad to see you on here, Glomag!

[dmauro]

I have a shot that would look pretty good like that...

[FortNinety]

Caught this on Kotaku earlier today (yeah, I know), but I'm happy to state that I fully remember when this was actual news; the debut of Halo 1, as the killer app for Apple's G4 chipset...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh1p7D_Nnx0

... As much of an Apple fan I am, it's obviously good that MS picked them up in the end.

[FortNinety]

So, Halo: the anime!

http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2009/07/23/halo-anime-due/

[dmauro]

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo.............

[FortNinety]

Here's the trailer...

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-debut-halo-legends/53158

... I guess it's like the Animatrix, with all these short stories by various directors, telling different tales. Note: never saw Animatrix cuz The Matrix is mad retarded. Even part one, sorry people. Anyhow, Studio 4°C is involved, so you know that at least one of them is gonna be awesome.
