gog is having a crazy sale

[dmauro]

psychonauts is 2 bucks on steam for a few more hours. i never got into the console version, but 2 bucks is 2 bucks.

2 bucks is 2 bucks, which is why I wouldn't buy it. Hopefully you'll enjoy it, but don't get too hyped up about it. Judging from the sort of stuff you go for, I wouldn't count on you liking it.

[dhex]

xcom collection = 2 bucks!

freedom force collection = 2 bucks!

they must approach publishers and say "you can move x amount of [virtual] units in 48 hours" where x is a significant portion of their yearly projected sales.

[dhex]

if you like top down alien breed style shooters, this 5 buck combo may be worth your time:

DO IT!

[dhex]

i would but it's vista only.

[dmauro]

Vista or Windows 7 (which is a pretty sweet OS).

[FortNinety]

7 would be even more awesome if all the loli-molestation games I specifically got Windows on my Mac for would work properly.

Speaking of, since you have the proper OS, Mike, wanna help review a few for me? My cup runneth over.

[dhex]

my soundcard isn't supported in 7 or vista, so no dice.

i don't think i'd be a very good reviewer for any dating sim, rapey or otherwise.

[FortNinety]

Hence why you'd be the perfect person!

[dmauro]

Just Cause 2 is currently 50% off on Steam. (today only)

And Portal is 90% off if you missed it for free.

[dhex]

lots of good steam sales. picked up a bunch of stuff for relatively small amounts of dosh.

broke down and bought mass effect 2 for 20 bucks as well. alpha protocol has ruined the bioware formula by doing it far better and less wonky, but dang if they didn't get the combat good.

[B coma]

yeah, even if the writing and roleplaying is pretty shallow I'll be damned if the combat in ME2 isn't pretty fun. I never played the original but I think it's the polish that's keeping me around.
