I dunno, the street lights are a nice touch.

Well I've been organising firefights with my friends over live and it's by far the most fun part. Fucking invisible monkeys with jetpacks >.<

Plot wise the single player isn't bad and the flashback / setpiece sequences are a nice touch.  But again I always play co-op for halo as it makes it far more fun.

I grit my teeth whenever I see this game as I predicted this remake would occur over three years ago -_- Graphics look a little off and apparently there is a sign stating how you should do a puzzle next to every puzzle.  What i'm interested in is repeats of the original nes puzzles that are in this game.

In terms of WayForward?  They're in the same boat as 5th Cell, nice idea but get lazy with execution.
4  Boards / And Everything Else / Re: The 4 Day Work Week "Works" on: August 27, 2009, 08:59:36 PM
Web guys have been doing this for years and there is massive benefits especially in terms of productivity.  However a ten hour work day four days a week means that these people are working another 2.5 hours a week than before.

Well, they're government so that's debatable.
5  Boards / Let's Talk About Play / Re: MS Finally Giving Indie Developers The Shaft? on: August 27, 2009, 08:56:12 PM
Amused on many points, indie games section is not enabled down here in AU.  MS limiting the release list increasing competition for those slots, no surprise there.  but most of all, watoday?  That's my local net only rag.  Bloody fairfax :p
6  Boards / Livin' In The City / High Line exhibitionism, literally a park with a view :) on: August 27, 2009, 08:49:21 PM
Hey All,

I just thought I should share this, tho it's probably old news by the time the consumerist gets it.  The hotel over the high line is advertising exhibitionism and porn shoots due to it's unique position.

I'm kinda facinated as I loved the idea of the high line project, and now this, I swear, NY is fucked in the head some days, in awesome ways!

i thought they had season three of black lagoon coming this year too. perhaps next year?

The Black Lagoon OVA is due out next year unfortunately.

In terms of that season, Certain Scientific Railgun should be pretty good, Fairy Tail for the stupid fun.  A friend of mine is interested in Kampfer but ever since I had light novels related to me as "japanese style stories about high school = doug" well... I tend to shy away.
8  Boards / Let's Talk About Play / Re: That Wacky Warren Spector Disney Game Looks Pretty Interesting Thus Far on: August 04, 2009, 06:53:35 AM
From what I can gather he's turned into more of a public speaker and gets karted around alot.  But if you want to know how cool the dude is check his blog there's some amusing stuff in there.

However if these pics are showing up in resumes i'm skeptical about it being produced.  it would make sense for disney to want to recapture it's older market but i'm not sure if this is the way they would do it.
9  Boards / Let's Talk About Play / Re: First Cave Story and next La Mulana. on: August 04, 2009, 06:50:33 AM
Nicalis is a bit of a odd sort, I got some good stories about what he was doing with the WiiWare port of Cave Story (WHICH STILL ISN'T OUT >.<) .  But dear god, someone hurry up and convert Spelunky for sale and we'll be three for three.

What I really want to know is which segment will be the RvB one, a really humourous part would help immensely and help break the series up.
