Title: The New EGM Post by: FortNinety on February 06, 2010, 04:42:16 PM I'm pretty sure no one else around here gives a rat's ass about the relaunch of EGM, since I have my own personal reasons, but for those that do...
https://secure.palmcoastd.com/pcd/eSv?iMagId=28201&i4Ky=ITWR So they're accepting payment for subscriptions without actually having an issue out yet, nor have they actually revealed ANYTHING up till this point. That's kinda... wow. Title: Re: The New EGM Post by: meronkun on February 06, 2010, 08:37:09 PM Wow.

... Honestly doesn't look all that bad. Very conservative, and hardly some amazing new thing that took a year to develop, but going the safe route at his point is perhaps not the worst option (plus who have been privy to the behind the scenes are perhaps just shocked that they got their act together to make a video in the first place). But, you know, saying ANYTHING negative about print, primarily when you yourself are doing something with the format, is kinda stupid. Just saying. Call me old fashioned, but embedded video is the last thing I want to see when I'm reading something ;) |
