Title: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: drozdal on January 28, 2010, 10:42:29 PM Yet another thread with crazy deals in it (for older games).
Newegg has almost 40 Xbox360 games for under $10 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2083230516%204024&page=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True) right now. Majority of them have free shipping too. Here is the list of stuff that may interest some of you Crackdown KOF: Circle of Doom The Club (Sega's weird mix of third person shooter and racing game) Condemned 2: Bloodshot Guilty Gear 2: Overture Operation Darkness (360 version of Valkyria Chronicles) Project Gotham Racing 4 Project Sylpheed (one of the few decent space arcade shooters on 360) Pure Bionic Commando Sadly Raiden Fighter Aces is back at it's regular price. Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: FortNinety on January 28, 2010, 11:56:05 PM Pure is definitely worth $10. And holy shit, they have Stranglehold? Sold. The demo alone provide so many laughs that I'd feel like a jerk passing it up. And Bionic Commando, simply because I'm a big Mike Patton fan (even Capcom concedes that it's demo was the absolute worst things ever).
These are all new copies, right? Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: drozdal on January 30, 2010, 07:13:21 PM Yep, all those copies are new (newegg does not [yet] have used game program).
I remember playing Stranglehold, laughs aside (there were many), but the game camera combined with wonky and not precise controls killed it for me. I had enough and quit during ship level (maybe third mission?). This game looked beautiful when it came out though. Also doves... Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: loopback on February 01, 2010, 02:27:12 PM Yeah $10 for Stranglehold, you'll get that much fun out of it. But it suffers from camera hell and having a control system with so many varied moves you can theoretically pull off, but a sloppy-ass system of trying to do any of it, that you wind up just running & gunning most of the time, because fancy moves get you smeared all over the geography.
Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: FortNinety on February 01, 2010, 03:43:42 PM Actually, it's only $8, and I still haven't picked it up, and might never will in the end. Cuz I can still think of other things that I'd rather blow eight dollars on, plus the demo is just the right length to show folks before becoming bored.
Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: Chairman Meow on February 03, 2010, 05:39:25 PM I got out of bad last night (1 AM-ish) and ordered a bunch of these games, I really don't remember what I got, or even what compelled me to do it. I just know that in a couple of days I'll have more games about shooting people.

Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: Chairman Meow on February 03, 2010, 09:13:50 PM You sleep shopped? Pretty much, although it felt a lot more like waking up from a night of debauchery and having a vague notion of what happened. There was shame when I realized what had transpired, I ended up with Stranglehold, Dark Sector, The Club and Bionic Commando. Title: Re: Newegg sells cheap 360 games too Post by: dmauro on February 03, 2010, 09:32:11 PM Ouch, and you didn't even get Pure.
