Title: blue disc hell
Post by: The Drunken Samurai on September 19, 2009, 06:17:42 PM
i bought a new game today (Raiden III) and i didnt know it was a blue disc. the box said it was printed on a dvd rom,but i guess blue doesnt always mean cd-rom like i thought? anyway,my ps2 doesnt read the blue discs, i remember reading somewhere on some forum about putting tape on the inside edges of the discs to weigh it down or something but i dont want to risk damging the disc. i have the receipt so i can just return it but id rather solve this problem.

help?

Since I've personally never had to deal with the issue and only heard about it second hand, figured the best thing would be to ask the experts...

... Seems pretty consistent with what I've heard before:

1. try to clean the lens
2. apply clear tape on the top of the discs
