My friend just came back from Hong Kong and picked up this shirt from Uniqlo while he was there:

Once again, proof positive that all the best game related shirts at Uniqlo never make it here in America. Only the most boring of designs from the recent UTXGame showed up in the New York store, and most of them are pretty lame to begin with.
Did get this though...

They did have a really nice Gundam shirt that I picked up for Leah, but yeah, other than that I wasn't into the other stuff. I'm really happy about this one though. Pac-Man is printed with a metallic gold sheen, which you can kind of see in the photo. They had one that I think Joe picked up that maybe looked kind of like this, but I think it had a bunch of crazy shit on the back.

Matt, guys at
Kid Samurai
have most of the japanese Uniqlo game related t-shirts at rather reasonable prices.

Hey, neat! Just ordered the Virtua Fighter shirt from them, and the Tekken one, even though I mostly wanted the blue one, which was sold out in large. But the green one might be okay.
Was thinking in the back of my mind of taking up on their blogger's special, but $5 doesn't mean that much to me, plus I cannot be bought or sold anyhow. At least for five dollars.

I forgot to mention that all the T-shirts are in "japanese" sizes, that means You have to get shirts that are a size bigger than usual (at least that's true in my case).

Yeah the shirt my friend got in China is a medium which means it's exactly the same as a US sized small.

The thing is, the sizes of recent shirts from Uniqlo are vastly inconsistent. At least the stuff they have in the New York store, which I'm under the impression is exactly the same as what they sell in Japan and other parts. I got five different tees during my last trip to the SoHo store, and each large was totally different from one another. Which meant a lot of time in the fitting room, which is annoying (I'm pretty shocked that a Japanese company could allow their flagship US store to have such filthy fitting rooms, along with such fucking stupid employees, perhaps for any retail chain in the city, which says a LOT).
Anyhow, remember that order I placed with Kid Samurai earlier today? Well I just got an email telling me that they might not have the ones I wanted, at least in the size I asked for. After they took my money of course. So I guess they accept orders and then just go to the store and buy them off the rack? A full refund has been promised if my order cannot be fulfilled, but it's annoying nonetheless.
Should have just asked my friend in Japan to look for me and not deal with their pricey shipping rates instead. Oh well.

I just saw that gold Pacman one at our NY store.
And women's sizes are pretty on the mark too, maybe even a little generous. I'm a total Uniqlo sympathizer and it's probably my favorite store here.

I had completely forgotten about pre-ordering them, but the Fangamer "Les Enfants Terribles" shirt and Foxhound just showed up in the mail. The shirt is what I expected, a little bro-ish but still subtle. But the bag! I don't remember the faux-Foxhound logo looking like an amateur furry art rendition.

I bought this one at Uniqlo a while ago. Haven't worn it or taken the tags off so I might still sell it.

... I'd much rather have designs from the game, but at least this one is pretty neat...
