As far as I know, as far as desktop OSs go, Windows is king, with Linux having virtually zero presence. OS X is a little better, but hardly a contender (in fact, computer sellers were selling Macs for so cheap, Apple had to step in and take stock away, to essentially spare themselves the embarrassment).

Though the platform of choice, ultimately, is cell phones, where many do all their emailing and like activities exclusively via their handsets.
