Still waiting for hoverboards and other tech from Back To The Future 2, but at least something from Aliens is starting to materialize...

This is kinda insane...

... The world of wacky Photoshops on message boards is gonna get a whole lot wackier if such tech gets in everyone's hands.

That's some pretty impressive programming. And yeah, wacky Photoshop threads will love this.

To bad the MS folks this past Tuesday didn't demonstrate anything like this....

http://www.cultofmac.com/video-amazing-futuristic-multitouch-interface-on-windows/17735

... At least it's possible via Windows 7, somehow. And once again, the comments are further proof why Mac people are so intolerable. God forbid anyone else comes up with a neat idea or interesting spin on something established.

One cell phone that I've been keeping an eye out on is Nokia's upcoming N900. Anyone whose been paying attention can tell you that the big N has really been blowing it big time for the past couple of years. Primarily Apple has blown every single N series phone that they've put out, without fail. The reasons are numerous, though ridiculously archaic Symbian OS is at the top, which just can't hang with the iPhone OS, Android, or WebOS, no matter how many adjustments they make.

Well, the N900 looks to finally change all this, with a brand new operating system that can hang with the best of them, and even out perform to certain degrees. I can pass along further info if anyone is interested (I'm almost certain no one will be), but here's just a taste...

The past few days have proven that one should never fully trust technology, ESPECIALLY if there's a "cloud" involved:

Once again, when it comes to cell phones, the Japanese know what is up...

Half of those don't even make any sense.

But they're different at least, I just find cell phones SO boring these days.

Related: despite the lukewarm review, I WANT THIS:

I really wish I had a 3GS for this...

... then again, it might just be a source of endless frustration.

Despite being a card carrying Google hater, their new Chrome OS is looking pretty good thus far...

http://www.cultofmac.com/opinion-why-googles-chrome-os-will-look-hopelessly-antiquated-next-year/21663

... Simply because it makes sense. Also, gotta love the author's totally retarded, knee-jerk reaction.

So I finally got the iPhone 3GS. Long story short, I called AT&T once again yesterday to complain about my service after a very important call got dropped (it would take too long to explain, but the exact moment in which we were disconnected was actually kinda hilarious, though painfully so, since it appeared that I had hung up on the person, a business contact that I've been somewhat butting heads with), and was threatening to cancel my contract and go with Verizon and their Android handset. But was told that I was eligible for an upgrade and that's what I did.

To be honest, I was either going to wait till the iPhone was finally able to pop up on Verizon or simply see what the next iPhone will be, but since both of those scenarios will play out in July at the earliest, plus I'm working on a project that also necessitated me messing around with the digital compass, figured what the hell. Even though I seriously did not to give those assholes at AT&T even more money.

And what a difference the faster chipset makes. To the point that I'm actually kinda annoyed, since I know damn well that when iPhone OS 4.0 comes out, this new phone will be just as gimped as the EDGE and 3G versions.

Okay, enough about cell phones for now. Moving on... Japan has certainly done better, that's for damn sure.
