so if you don't already own fallout and fallout 2, you can do so for less than eight bucks.

Well, now that I finally have XP running, may as well check out Fallout.

Which would be better for me Mike, part 1 or 2?

Thanx for pointing out Steam sale dhex

This is what I got:
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky (ROW) - who knows I might try it out before new installment comes out
Lucasarts Adventure Bundle - now I won't be feeling guilty playing these games on Scumm
Audiosurf
Machinarium - I want to see those guys making more games
Mount and Blade

And I made some purchases on GoG too, mostly ancient westerns RPG's and Freespace 1 + 2

I'm curious to know what you guys think of Audiosurf, aka the most overrated indie game in the recent memory, or at least the one I simply cannot understand how everyone doesn't immediately go "seriously?" after ten seconds.

it's cute-ish enough. it works better with some music (mostly mid tempo) than others, and requires a lot of tweaking.

plus, 2.50.

besides, most overrated indie game in recent memory was braid. Smiley

EDIT:

At least Braid actually does something somewhat interesting, and correctly. Driving while playing Tetris that supposedly dependent on the music, but not really, is just "eh" in my book. But there are worse ways to spend $2.50, that's for sure.

New or used? Cuz if new, shit, I'll buy.

ehhhhhhh, such are the vicissitudes of taste.

i love the artwork. i really do. i would hire david to do the backgrounds and models for a 2.5 iso rpg in a heartbeat, were i so unattached to 100k as to want to develop one.

My brother and I both picked up GTAIV on Steam. I brought the 360 version home with me and he thought it was pretty cool and we're both pretty psyched about seeing it run with better graphics.
