James Blackshaw! tomorrow night! Le Poisson Rouge! just found out about this today, but i think i'm going to try to go.
for those unfamiliar with him, he's pretty much an incredible 12-string guitar player who makes really pretty music.

How was the show? I love the Glass Bead Game? If this was a year ago, I definitely would have been there.

just found out that Tim Hecker is playing in NYC tonight at Le Poisson Rouge
if i knew 100% that i had no school tomorrow, then this might be the perfect weather in which to go see Tim Hecker perform.

Kenneth Anger.
Lou Reed.
The pretentious old fuck quotient just on the stage alone makes me want to go.

If being bored by the church you were raised in wasn't enough for you now you can be bored by a bunch of crypto-spermaphagists!
Listen to a rambling liturgy written by a tone deaf junky!
See unappealing naked people!
Eat baked goods whose ingredients you do not want to know!
That's right the
Tahuti Lodge of the O.T.O.
is now doing their Gnostic Mass the first Sunday of the month at Santo's Party House.

so last night at the Peter Gabriel concert, Lou Reed played a cover of Solisbury Hill during the intermission. totally unexpected, but pretty cool!

Lizards and Thelemites, oh my!
It's too bad really. There's a few gems in Crowley's overall output. The O.T.O. remake he did, unfortunately, was not one of them.

Reed seems to be popping up in all sorts of places. He's even doing the Mermaid Parade this year.

Was gonna ask if anyone was down for Killing Joke in a few weeks, but just discovered that it's been pushed back till this December. Not too much of a bummer due to being so fucking poor at the moment...
