There isn't much difference between the recipe and say Chicken Cordon Bleu. I'm not terribly crazy about KFC, so the idea of having their take on fried chicken wrapped around their likely quality of bacon and stuck together with some mystery sauce they're claiming as their own doesn't appeal.

The basics of the recipe however, were it make with proper ingredients and served as say an appetizer might not be the worst.

Yeah, hence why I am not entirely offended by KFC's creation; its just a fast food take on a fancy platter. Though I'm a tad bit more optimistic than Fitz, plus confession time: KFC is somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine that I indulge in once every few months. Hell, might be more so if not for the fact that there's none near me.

Not to somewhat change the subject that it just dawned onto me how, despite not having the best diet in the world, I'm still not 900 pounds, despite the Dunkin Donuts across the street. Course, some folks said the same thing when I lived in Sunset Park, right next to gigantic one that made the neighborhood air smell sugary 24/7. Will power I guess. Oh, and that shit is expensive too.

kfc by itself isn't the most offensive thing ever dreamed up, to be sure - i'd probably take it over most of the fast food if i had to choose. but not that i like chicken kiev or anything but they're only working with a very loosely related concept here*, and the pictures from the onion were pretty off-putting.

* sort of like a famous bowl and shepherd's pie.
